Seen through the eyes of Newton “the Butcher” Kidd, a grassroots professional fighter from the Bronx, The Art of Boxing takes a cinematic view of the complexity and poetry of boxing by shattering the commonly held view of a simplistic and barbaric contest, elevating the drama, determination and struggles of this passionate boxer.
